I'm a Geezer to at 66, but it hasn't stopped me yet. Slowed me down some, yes, but not stopped me.

Looking forward to this... Ready - Set - G, g, g,,,, ah, still some logistics to solve.

George,

You're one of the few people who have figured out where "Nata Harli" came from. I'd say you're showing your age but you're still a young pup.

I'm really looking forward to this. Just got to get the finances worked out but that's never stopped me before.

Nata's back injury

Postby raven » Fri Nov 02, 2012 5:11 pm

Hey Nata,

Sorry to hear about your back. Have you tried the Back-A-Line back support? I have one and it's like a miracle!

Yes, I've got one and plan on bringing it. I'm also going to invest in an Airhawk seat and bring it.

If worse comes to worse I'll just find a good masseuse to take care of my back!

Three posts in a row. Can you tell I am delayed at the airport ??

Gary, I'm getting ready to head to the airport. Here's hoping you don't hear from me while I'm delayed.

Got rid of the Ural after barely making it home from SALARR. I'm down to justa 1200GS and I'm sure whatever I get in PP won't be as comfortable as my GS. So I bought an Airhawk to see if that helps. I'll test it on the plane.

I see another participant from SALARR is going to be with us. Alex stopped in briefly at Sipapu. You probably know him.

See you soon.

you can rent (or buy) a 250cc bike in PP, i dont know how much it will cost, but assume like everything else in cambo that it will be affordable.

You can get XR's (older baja XR250s) for something like 10 - 15 per day if memory serves. Depending on duration and deal factor.

If you wanted something with more grunt, a DRZ400 usually goes for 25 - 40 depending on condition and haggle factor and as a wild guess an XR400 probably 25 - 35.

Saying that this is going to be silly season and bikes may be in shorter supply than times I was asking in the summer.

Ankor bikes on St 51 between 172 and 174 was helpful to me in the past. But theres a bunch of rental options. If theres any help I can offer locally drop me a message.
